COP 27 CRUCIAL FOR MALAWI

Malawi's envoy to Egypt Catherine Kunje has described Malawi's participation in COP27 UN Climate Change Conference as crucial for collaboration in finding solutions to the effects of climate change.
Kunje said Malawi is among countries facing adverse effects of climate change as witnessed by devastating cyclones and dry spells in the last farming season and that the country cannot afford to be left out in the fight against climate change.
The Ambassador welcomed President Dr Lazarus Chakwera who joined over 90 other Heads of State and Government to this year's UN Climate Change Conference at Sharm El Sheikh on Saturday.
The conference currently underway and closes on 18 November 2022
