Malawi is the best tourism destination. It has Lake Malawi; fondly called the calendar lake with its fresh waters, Islands, wildlife, hills and mountains with breath-taking waterfalls.
The country has unexploited natural resources and offers rare opportunities in trade, industry, commerce, ICT and investment in all sectors. It has an established conducive environment for initiatives targeting human development in its fullest context.
The leadership under President Dr Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera articulates its development agenda and international diplomatic relations based on the principles of the rule of law and respect for fundamental human rights. This is in essence to achieve universal goals as expressed in the United Nations Charter.
Malawi offers a diverse range of opportunities for regional socio-economic integration and cooperation. It is currently chairing SADC and sets itself apart to the enhancement of mutual cooperation for the benefit of the people.
